Mr. Woodcock has participated in music from a very young age. Starting in band in 6th grade and remaining in band through college. Mr. Woodcock graduated from Swansboro High School in 2004 and went on to attend East Carolina University. He received a Bachelor of Music degree in 2008. 


Mr. Woodcock has been a high school music teacher for most of his career. He began teaching in 2009 at Farmville Central High School. He then moved to Havelock High School from 2010 to 2012 as the associate director of music. From there, he moved to Northside High School as the head band director from 2013 to 2016. He began teaching at Sand Ridge Elementary School in the fall of 2016.


When Mr. Woodcock isn't teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family. He has two daughters, Elena and Aria, and his lovely wife of 7 years.
